A structured, five-step sourcing process. Clear expectations at every stage, with final manufacturing agreements made directly between client and maker.
04 / How it works
A structured search.
A straightforward conversation.
- 01
Share requirement
Tell us the model category, intended use, location and any drawings or references available.
- 02
Clarify scope
We discuss scale, dimensions, detailing, working features, budget and the required date.
- 03
Identify suitable makers
We consider potentially relevant capabilities and availability. A suitable match may not always be available.
- 04
Connect and discuss
Discuss proposals, samples, assumptions and commercial terms with the introduced maker.
- 05
Move towards an agreement
You and the maker agree final scope, price, production, payment and delivery. Any Vistar coordination is separately agreed.
We facilitate the introduction. You and the maker agree the final scope, pricing, production, payment and delivery.
Prepare a useful quotation brief.
Include the audience and purpose, category, overall dimensions, scale if known, drawings, finish expectations, landscape details, lighting or moving features, budget, destination and required date.
Compare proposals on the same scope.
Ask makers to state inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, material choices, base and enclosure details, transport, installation, maintenance and delivery terms. Request relevant examples and assess suitability yourself.
Agree before making.
Record the final scope, milestones, changes, acceptance criteria, payment and delivery arrangements directly with the selected maker. Any Vistar quotation or project coordination must be separately agreed.
